US Bank Breaks Ground on $250M Minneapolis Data Center
Stream Data Centers was tapped to develop the 56,000 square-foot-building by the end of this year. Upon completion, the center will incorporate two utility feeds from two separate substations designed to support 2.4MW of IT data load.

Savvis to Open New Data Center in Minneapolis
Savvis, a CenturyLink company, specializing in cloud infrastructure and hosted IT solutions for businesses, recently announced plans to expand its North American footprint by opening a new data center in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area in the spring of 2014. The new Savvis MP2 data center, built to support 4.8 megawatts of IT load on 100,000 square feet of raised floor space, will open with an initial 1.2 megawatts and 13,000 square feet of raised floor space.
