$45M Mixed-Use Project Lands in Nashville

Nashville makes room for a major new mixed-use development project worth $45 million.
Nashville makes room for a major new development project after GBT Realty Corp. paid $3 million to acquire 1.03 acres in Hillsboro Village, according to the Tennessean. The property will be home to a $45 million mixed-use development called Village 21 at Regions Park. Village 21 Located at the corner of 21st Avenue South and Wedgewood Avenue, Village 21 is planned to offer 101 apartment units, more than 22,000 square feet of commercial space and 250 parking spaces. Interior amenities will include walk‐in closets, top-of-the-line appliances and covered balconies that extend at least nine feet, allowing for outdoor entertaining. Residents here will have access to a courtyard deck with a pool, outdoor grilling area, fire pit, fitness center, yoga lawn and clubroom. The project’s commercial component will include a 3,800-square-foot Regions Bank branch and a 6,000-square-foot restaurant. Construction on the Village 21 is expected to start this month and be complete by spring 2017.
