As part of an expansion across the U.S. and Canada, 7-Eleven Inc. has named Lend Lease’s multi-site group its construction service provider. The retail chain plans to boost its profile by at least 500 stores this year via individual store capital leases, business conversions and acquisitions.

In accordance with the three-year agreement, Lend Lease – formerly known as Bovis Lend Lease – assumes immediate responsibility for new store construction. According to Robert McNamara, CEO of Lend Lease’s Americas region, being chosen to manage construction is a testament to Lend Lease’s quality of work.

McNamara added that the goal is to accelerate growth while driving efficiency and innovation along with saving money for 7-Eleven.

Lend Lease has nearly a century of experience in project management and construction. Over the past decade, it has provided construction services on more than 2,500 projects for 1,100 clients nationwide.
