- Sep 03, 2013
A&B Properties’ latest condominium development slated to rise at 600 Ala Moana Blvd. in Honolulu’s Kakaako neighborhood has registered strong sales from the very beginning. According to the Pacific Business News, about 60 percent of the 397 units in the 43-story high-rise known as The Collection were sold during the opening sales weekend.
“It was very busy and we’re certainly pleased with the activity,” A&B Properties Senior Vice President of Development Rick Stack told the newspaper. “We still have a lot of good units available. We’ve still got a ways to go.”
The new tower will be developed on a former CompUSA site. Architects Pappageorge Haymes Partners, Design Partners and interior design firm Philpotts Interiors are part of the development team, while Heyer & Associates serves as the project’s exclusive broker.
Prices start in the high $300,000s for one-bedroom units, the mid-$500,000s for two-bedroom units and the mid-$700,000s for three-bedroom units. Amenities will include a pool, outdoor lounge, fitness center, club room and private dog park within the tower.
The $200 million development will also feature a four-story structure with about 50 apartments, 16 two- and three-bedroom townhomes, as well as retail shops and restaurants. Sales for the mid-rise building residences and townhomes will begin later this year.
Construction on the project is expected to start in about a year and take as long as 30 months to complete.
