Americana Inks Lease

The imprintable sportswear distributor, which took 240,000 square feet in Santa Fe Springs, Calif., is planning a major expansion to accommodate its growing West Coast customer base.

Imprintable sportswear distributor Americana Activewear has inked a 240,000-square-foot long-term lease in Santa Fe Springs, Calif. The lease was brokered by commercial real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield Inc.

Americana was represented by Britt Casey of Cushman’s suburban Chicago office in Rosemont, Ill., and Rooney Daschbach and Eric Daschbach of Cushman’s Los Angeles South Bay operation in Long Beach, Calif. Brokering for landlord Alere Property Group was John McMillan, Jeff Sanita and Tim Wallace of Cushman’s Los Angeles downtown office

According to Rooney Daschbach, the property serves Americana because it offers a central location with respect to its regional customer base.

Americana is planning a major expansion to accommodate its growing West Coast customer base. It currently maintains a 60,000-square-foot distribution center in Gardena, Calif.
