Chicago’s Streeterville neighborhood is attracting developers like a magnet. Not long after the opening of the much-awaited Loews Chicago Hotel at 455 N. Park Dr. and North Water Apartments at 340 E. North Water St., the popular neighborhood is getting another stylish skyscraper.

Jupiter Realty and Pappageorge Haymes Partners teamed up to develop a 45-story residential tower at 465 North Park Dr., Curbed Chicago reports. The proposed plan includes 444 mid-luxury apartments, 11,650 square feet of retail space, as well as 181 parking spaces on five levels. If approved, the project will break ground in January 2016.

Located at the corner of Illinois and Park Streets just north of the new Loews Hotel, the narrow glass tower would go right in line with Streeterville’s posh skyline. Chicago Architecture reports that the building will incorporate a fifth-floor amenity level with a swimming pool, green spaces, fire pits, and much more. An 800-square-foot apartment unit could go for about $2,800 per month, according to Curbed.

The lot at 465 N. Park Drive was meant to house a previously approved 57-story residential tower developed by Houston-based Hanover. However, the project failed to take off due to the 2008 economic crash.
