“We have known them for many years as strong industrial brokerage professionals who have held various positions within the industrial real estate sector. Between them, they have more than 40 years of experience, and their reputations are impeccable in the industry,” said Danny Nikitas, Avison Young Chicago’s principal & managing director, in a prepared statement.
Vast client portfolio
Lydon has more than 25 years of experience in the industry, having brokered transactions exceeding $950 million. Prior to joining Avison Young, he was a senior director with Cushman & Wakefield in Chicago. During his career, he has worked with several clients such as Sears Holding Corp., Seefried Properties, Liberty Property Trust, Prologis and Morgan Stanley.
Tecu has been in the industry for 19 years, spending the last seven as a manager of acquisitions with CenterPoint Properties. He has also helped close industrial transactions valued at more than $1 billion.
Tecu’s past and current clients include AMB, Duke Realty, Prologis, First Industrial Realty Trust and Sitex Realty Group. A University of Kansas graduate, Tecu is also a member of NAIOP and the Association of Industrial Real Estate Brokers.
