Avison Young Expands Houston Office with 2 New Appointments

Houston—Avison Young has announced the appointments of Douglas Pack and Sam Hansen as principals. In their new roles, the agency leasing brokers will be responsible for leading and building the company’s new Houston office leasing team, working with owners and developers to improve asset value through strategic leasing.
Both Pack and Hansen hold a combined four decades of commercial real estate experience under their belts, having served most recently as vice presidents with NAI Partners in Houston. “Sam and Doug are high-quality professionals who bring great expertise to project leasing in our Houston office…Their track record of success, reputation and depth of relationships in the industry will be an asset to our team as we continue to extend our reach in the region through a steadfast focus on providing best-in-class client service,” Rand Stephens, Avison Young principal & managing director of the firm’s Houston office, said in prepared remarks.
Throughout Pack’s 21-year real estate career, he has taken part in all facets of real estate management and leasing areas, having dealt with project leasing, property management and investment sales. While working at NAI Partners, he tripled the firm’s office leasing portfolio, reaching 3.8 million square feet of Class A and B office space. Pack started his commercial real estate career at Boxer Property in 1994, and since then has held numerous leadership positions in leasing and operations.
Hansen has 18 years of experinence, having primarily served as an office landlord leasing agent. Throughout his eight-year carreer with NAI Partners, he built an office portfolio of Class A and B office buildings and assisted the company in developing a management platform.
