Avison Young to Manage Another 502 KSF in Metro Miami

With the addition of Principal Real Estate Investors' three industrial assets, the firm’s property management portfolio in Florida reached 22 million square feet to date.

Principal Real Estate Investors has retained Avison Young as property manager for a three-asset industrial portfolio totaling 501,593 square feet in Broward County. Avison Young’s property management portfolio in Florida has reached 22 million square feet to date. On a national scale, the company occupies the fifth position in Commercial Property Executive‘s top property managers in 2019 ranking.

Avison Young will oversee:  

  • Lyons Technology Center⁠—a 232,887-square-foot light industrial park in Coconut Creek, Fla.
  • Pointe West Commerce Center⁠—a three-building, 169,033-square-foot flex/warehouse property in Davie, Fla.
  • Port 95 Business Center—spanning 99,673 square feet at 4100 and 4150 S.W. 26th Way in Hollywood, Fla.

Lyons Technology Center consists of six industrial buildings located inside Lyons Technology Park at 4701, 4611, 4631 Johnson Road and 4811 and 4911 Lyons Technology Parkway. The property is one block east of State Road 7 and close to Sawgrass Expressway. Three of the buildings also include 67 percent of office space.

Pointe West Commerce Center sits at 15751, 15851 and 15951 SW 41st St., right next to Interstate 75 and roughly 21 miles west of Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. The Class A property provides both office and warehouse space, as well as a parking ratio of 2 spaces per 1,000 square feet.
