Berkshire Investments Taps New VP

Boston—The Berkshire Group recently announced the appointment of Justin Brown as vice president of venture investments. Brown will work with the Berkshire Group Venture Investments team on due diligence, underwriting and asset management for the BRV Partners Fund I platform.
Before his recent appointment, Brown most recently worked for M&T Bank, where he served as vice president, commercial real estate banking for nearly five years. During this time, he sourced and closed deals for both REITs and private equity funds. Prior positions include associate & consultant of MacGregor Global Investments, associate of MacGregor Associates and investment analyst with the BGK Group.
Brown is an alumnus of Cornell University’s S.C. Johnson Graduate School of Management and also holds a BA in economics from Northwestern University.
“Justin brings a wealth of knowledge and skill from his past experience in commercial real estate banking … He will be an exceptional asset to the team as we grow our portfolio of entity-level investments,” said Jason Grossman, managing director with the Berkshire Group, in a prepared statement.
