Blink Fitness, the premium-quality, value-based fitness club, is opening its newest Brooklyn, New York location in the landmarked Brooklyn Lyceum building in Park Slope. The club will open its doors in August.

Located at 227 4th Ave., the Lyceum originally served as NYC Public Bath No. 7 and was in need of a major restoration when Blink signed the lease. Preservation of the 100-year-old building included exposed brick, large arched windows and industrial steel trusses that support the 22-foot high ceilings.

Blink Benefits

As a part of its grand opening, Blink Fitness will donate 50 one-year memberships worth over $10,000 to Opportunities for a Better Tomorrow, a disadvantaged youth and adults organization.

The new facility will offer top-of-the-line strength equipment that includes as well as a wide variety of premium cardio machines and a multi-use space for additional exercises, stretching and functional training.

“This is a show stopping, flagship location for Blink that we’re sure will become a healthy hub of activity in the neighborhood,” said Kenyon Clemons, club manager, in prepared remarks. The location is the company’s 12th Brooklyn property.
