Brainlab Inc., a German medical technology company headquartered in Munich, Bavaria, has a newly designed office in Westchester, Ill., a western suburb of Chicago. The company’s 20,867-square-foot office occupies the entire 10th floor of 5 Westbrook Corporate Center, and houses more than 70 Brainlab employees.

Brainlab’s new open-floor plan was designed by local architecture firm Baumann Studios LLC, while Interior Construction Group Inc. developed the offices.

“Brainlab is on trend in creating an office space where innovation and performance are built on personal interactions,” said Sean Clark, president of Brainlab. “Our new space provides a collaborative working environment through an open floor plan, state-of-the-art interactive zones, and a streamlined design with room for future growth.”

The company expanded its Windy City presence earlier this year, with the opening of a state-of-the-art location in the Wrigley Building. The new office provides space for Brainlab’s corporate marketing and education teams, and also includes space for Brainlab Academy—the company’s customer training program.

Brainlab is a world leader in medical device technology, and powers treatment in the fields of neurosurgery, radiation oncology, and orthopedics, among others.
