Brown & Brown Chooses Maitland Green II for Expansion

Brown & Brown Insurance has leased 22,236 square feet in suburban Orlando.

Brown & Brown Insurance has signed an agreement to occupy 22,236 square feet at the Maitland Green II office building. The insurance broker is expanding its Central Florida business operations from its location in the Maitland Forum building.

Centrally situated at 2290 Lucien Way in Maitland, a submarket of Orlando, the four-story Maitland Green II is close to Interstate 4 and the Maitland Blvd., with easy access to the Lake Mary and Winter Park submarkets, and the Orlando CBD. After having recently undergone common area renovations, the building now offers an entirely new lobby area, a café, as well as on-site institutional property management.

JLL completed the lease on behalf of the tenant. A team led by vice presidents Joe Hills, Nick Poole and Aaron Gray represented Brown & Brown in the transaction. Principals Alex Rosario and J. Paul Reynolds of CNL Commercial Real Estate spoke for the landlord, Tower Realty Partners. The agreement includes signage rights at the property, a custom office floor plan and reserved parking for Brown & Brown’s workforce. The insurance broker will occupy the fourth floor at Maitland Green II and will join a tenant roster that includes Waddell & Reed and Schlesinger Associates. The firm occupied 16,000 square feet at its former location.
