HFF has completed the $24.8 million sale of Haffley Industrial Park, a two-building industrial park in National City, Calif. The company worked on behalf of the seller, Presidio Property Trust. KKR acquired the property.

Located on two parcels totaling approximately 6.1 acres at 2101 Haffley Ave., and 940 W. 19th St., the properties offer more than 146,000 square feet of industrial space. Haffley Industrial Park is situated close to Interstate 5 and less than seven miles from downtown San Diego. Additionally, the Naval Base San Diego and San Diego International Airport are nearby.

Built in 1971, the industrial buildings feature clear heights ranging from 18 to 24 feet, wide truck courts, seven dock-high doors, 11 grade-level doors and a low office finish. Haffley Industrial Park has recently undergone roughly $2.6 million in improvements and upgrades.

Senior Managing Director Nick Psyllos, Senior Director Nick Frasco and Senior Associate Kara Mathis were part of the investment advisory team that represented the seller.

“KKR recognized that the Haffley Industrial Park was a rare opportunity to acquire functional industrial real estate in a highly sought-after infill location very close to both Naval Base San Diego and downtown,” Psyllos said in a prepared statement. “There are excellent demand drivers in place with numerous defense contractors who find this location to be ideal to service Navy vessels.”
