Cambridge College Unveils New Boston Campus
- Nov 30, 2017
Callahan Construction Managers, a full-service construction management company, has completed Cambridge College’s campus relocation project in Boston’s Charlestown neighborhood. The school chose the new location to create a more unified campus that is more accessible to students. Wilson Architects designed the facility, which includes additional support spaces for the college.
The campus is located at 500 Rutherford Ave. in Hood Business Park, within walking distance to Sullivan Square, providing connections to downtown Boston and Cambridge. Comprising 108,000 square feet of mixed-use space, the educational facility includes modern classrooms, laboratories, meeting rooms, offices, administrative areas, studies and lounges, along with the latest audio/visual communication and teaching technologies.
“We are proud to have played such a significant role in Cambridge College’s mission of establishing a cohesive Boston campus,” said Patrick Callahan, president of Callahan Construction Managers, in prepared remarks. “This exceptional new facility involved a great deal of collaboration and dedication that our team was eager to support throughout all phases of construction.”
