After transforming the former Reebok headquarters in Stoughton into one of Route 128 South’s premier corporate destinations, the company added Shields Healthcare to 100 TECH’s tenant roster.

Shields Healthcare has signed a lease with Campanelli to occupy 36,615 square feet at 100 TECH, a newly redeveloped, Class A office building in Stoughton, Mass. The medical service provider will occupy the asset’s entire sixth floor, relocating its headquarters from 700 Congress St. in Quincy, Mass. The owner’s construction branch, Campanelli Construction, will complete the tenant build-out.

The 188,000-square foot, six-story property was completed in 1988 as the Reebok world headquarters. Campanelli embarked on a multimillion-dollar rebranding and repositioning program after purchasing it in February 2017, which resulted in a reimagined main entrance, new lobby finishes, café with gaming areas, fitness center with showers, lockers and spin studio, conference space, patio seating, fire pit and multi-sport court. The tenant roster currently includes Collegium Pharmaceuticals, which occupies the building’s second and third floors.

Desirable location

The asset is located at 100 Technology Center Drive, at the intersection of routes 129 and 24, and offers easy access to interstates 98 and 128. The Stoughton MBTA commuter rail is 3 miles away, while Boston is 17 miles away. Amenities within a five-minute drive include restaurants, retailers and accommodation options.

NKF’s Mike Frisoli and Tyler McGrail, together with Campanelli Director of Leasing Peter Brown, handle the leasing efforts for the property. Conrad Group’s Bob Conrad and James McEvoy represented the tenant in the lease transaction.

This property is unique in that it offers the flexibility to lease between 2,500 and 102,000 square feet of contiguous office space in a corporate headquarters setting in the Route 128 South market,” Campanelli Partner & Principal of Acquisitions Steve Murphy said in a prepared statement.
