Commercial real estate services provider has lured Noble Carpenter and Bart Steinfeld away from Jones Lang LaSalle. The two industry veterans will join the firm as executive managing directors in the New York City office.

Bringing an average of 25 years of experience in capital markets transactions with them, the pair will work closely with Cassidy Turley executive managing director of capital markets William Collins and New York tri-state region president Peter Hennessy to develop a fully integrated national capital markets platform. That includes providing services including investment sales, debt placement, structured finance, recapitalizations, joint venture equity, development financing and note sales.

According to Collins, the two will help Cassidy Turley expand into major markets including New York, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Washington, D.C. Hennessy added that bolstering the firm’s capital markets services will result in the ability to generate more revenue growth opportunities for clients in New York and across the country.

Carpenter and Steinfeld most recently served as international directors for Jones Lang LaSalle. As senior members of the firm’s real estate investment banking group, they focused on note sales, debt restructuring and workouts. They have been involved in significant assignments such as the asset management of a $1.3 billion portfolio for State Street Corp., the sale of performing and non-performing loans for Morgan Stanley, and the sale of small balance loans from a variety of CMBS servicers through an auction platform.
