Coldwell Banker Commercial Advisors DFW named Steve Gray as managing principal for its brand-new Dallas office. Gray will lead the company’s expansion into the sector and recruit the team for the new branch. He will initially be working in CBC Advisors DFW’s headquarters in Arlington, Texas, which is led by Managing Principal Gary Walker. Vice President Ryan Crabtree will join Gray and his team in the Dallas division.
“Our team has long been keen to open a Dallas office, but I needed a talented and respected professional with strong relationships and vision. Steve is that person,” Walker said in a prepared statement.
With more than 20 years of experience in commercial real estate, Gray represented WaterWalk Corporate Living, Avis Budget, SEE Eyewear, among others. Most recently, he served as senior vice president & director of leasing at Weitzman Group, overseeing a 4.8 million-square-foot retail portfolio. During his nine-year tenure at Weitzman, Gray completed 350 transactions totaling approximately 1.8 million square feet and was awarded numerous industry awards for production volume.
He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors. Gray received a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master of science degree in applied economics from the University of North Texas.
Earlier this year, Coldwell Banker Commercial Advisors expanded its Ontario, Calif., operations with the opening of a new full-service commercial real estate office.
