CCO Joins Great Wolf Pack

Madison, Wisc.—Great Wolf Resorts Inc. announced that Scott Wilson will serve as the company’s first chief commercial officer.
Wilson will be responsible for driving occupancy levels, onsite revenue and room rate at the company’s 14 resorts with a focus on eCommerce and digital marketing. He will oversee marketing, revenue management, sales and call center operations.
Wilson brings more than 20 years of online marketing and eCommerce experience in the travel and hospitality industry. Wilson joins from United Airlines, where he held a number of leadership positions for the last seven years, including vice president of merchandising and eCommerce. Prior to that, he served as vice president of eMarketing for Marriott International. He also held various marketing roles at American Online Inc. for seven years.
Wilson holds a bachelor’s degree in political economics from the University of California in Berkeley and a master’s degree in marketing and operations research from Carnegie Mellon University.
