Colliers-Boston to Manage Leasing Efforts for Boston Metro Class A Office

BostonColliers Int’l recently announced that its Boston office won the listing for 78 Blanchard Rd., a Class A, 120,000-square-foot office building in Burlington, Mass. The executive leasing team that will handle the property is made up of Colliers-Boston representatives James Elcock, John Carroll, Matt Perry, and Robert Glor.

The five-story office mid-rise, which was completed in 2014, is part of the three-building Blanchard Woods office park, which encompasses a total of approximately 200,000 square feet. The addresses of the other two buildings are 76 and 80 Blanchard Rd., each spanning 40,000 square feet over two floors.

In August 2015, CBRE/New England, the property’s former agent, announced the completion of leases totaling in excess of 60,000 square feet, reaching a then-76 percent occupancy rate. Companies that signed leases at Blanchard Woods in 2015 include Cambridge Trust, Baylis Medical, Chronovo, Limelight Networks, OpFocus, and Mitsubishi Int’l Corp.

According to the Blanchard Woods website, at the time of publication, 76 Blanchard Rd. was 100 percent occupied, 78 Blanchard Rd. had 52,409 square feet available spread over six suites on four floors, while 80 Blanchard Rd. still had a 3,000-square-foot suite available.

Owned by Waltham, Mass.-based development and management company Duffy Properties, 78 Blanchard Road sits within the Route 128-central submarket, minutes from I-95 and the Middlesex Turnpike interchange. In near vicinity of Oracle’s Burlington campus, the office park is right across the interstate from Burlington Mall and the Lahey Medical Center.

Due to its location along the dense Route 128 corridor, the property offers a plethora of surrounding amenities, including four hotels, over 150 retailers, and ten full-service restaurants. Onsite amenities include a fitness room with showers and lockers and a cafeteria with outside patio.
