Colliers Promotes Veteran to New York City Managing Director

Joe Bolano will grow the firm’s Project Leaders USA division, while also leading the health-care practice in the Northeast region.

After appointing a new national health-care director earlier this month, Colliers International has promoted Joe Bolano as its newest managing director of its New York City office. In his new role, he will expand the firm’s Project Leaders USA division and continue to lead the firm’s healthcare practice across the Northeast region.

Bolano brings more than 35 years of commercial real estate experience to this position. Previously, he was regional director of health care and life sciences at Colliers, overseeing the New England, New York City metro and the Mid-Atlantic areas.

Between 2017 and 2018, he served as vice president and health-care/sciences sector leader for The LiRo Group. Prior to that, he was vice president of capital project and facility services for Northwell Health, director of off-campus real estate development at Columbia University, president of The COR Group and director of facilities at New York Hospital Medical Center of Queens.
