Having inked three leases in South Florida, Comcast Corp. has lifted the moribund-as-of-late market. The cable provider has taken 130,000 square feet in Palm Beach and Broward Counties, with the largest individual lease totaling more than 83,000 square feet.

The leases have an aggregate value of $15 million. They were brokered by NAI/Merin Hunter Codman, which is located in Palm Beach County.

According to NAI/Merin Hunter Codman principal Bob Schneiderman, Comcast took advantage of the market by moving forward with lease renewals, restructurings and extensions. The three leases are located at 2601 SW 145th Avenue in Miramar, 2701 SW 145th Street in Miramar, and 1100 Northpoint Parkway in West Palm Beach. The latter two were for 27,000 and 20,000 square feet respectively.
