More homes are coming to the Falls Grove community in northern Prince William County. Comstock Homes of Washington, LC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Comstock Holding Cos., the community’s developer, recently announced the start of construction for a new phase of the development. Named the Estates of Falls Grove, it calls for the construction of 19 more single-family detached homes.
In a news release, the developer said the first phase of Falls Grove was a great success, proving to be popular with both young families and retirees. The strong sales of the Roxbury and Latham townhome models convinced Comstock to begin work earlier on the new phase.
Comstock started selling the single-family homes in late November. The Estates of Falls Grove will feature the new Savoy, Chatham and Keswick models. Homes will range in size between 2,200 and 3,000 square feet, and will offer three to five bedrooms and two or three baths and a powder room. Prices will start in the $450,000s.
Work has already started on the final section of townhomes in the first phase of Falls Grove. Once complete, it will consist of 110 townhome-style condominiums, ranging in size from 1,600 to 1,900 square feet. These homes are priced from the high $200,000s.
“Sales of the townhomes in the first phase of Falls Grove have been strong because of the award-winning designs and the strong value proposition,” Dennis Kelleher, division president of Comstock Homes of Washington, said in a statement. ”With our new line of unique single-family homes, we expect sales in this newest phase of the Falls Grove community to be strong, as well. With a limited supply of estate lots, we expect to build out this phase of the community quickly.”
According to Comstock, the Estates of Falls Grove is expected to generate as much as $10 million in revenue.
