Commercial real estate advisory firm Richards Barry Joyce & Partners has brokered a 51,0000-square-foot renewal on behalf of KBS Realty Advisors. The office space is located at 80 Central St. in Boxborough, Mass.

Per the lease, tech company Crossbeam Systems, Inc. will keep its corporate headquarters at the property. Crossbeam provides security platforms for high-performance networks; it occupies the first and second floors of the building.

The building, along with 90 Central St., comprises Tech Central Boxborough. KBS has owned 80 Central since 2006, when it acquired the office building for $17.8 million.

“Crossbeams Systems’ decision to remain at 80 Central St. demonstrates the building’s appeal in this market,” Richards Barry & Joyce partner Brian McKenzie said. “The building has a central location in the Massachusetts high-tech corridor, excellent highway access, and the amenity package that many tenants look for.”
