Cushman & Wakefield Arranges Full-Building Lease in North Bethesda

Part of a two-building complex, the 8-story Executive Plaza South will now be leased by Abt Associates.

Washington—Cushman & Wakefield announced the signing of a 155,000-square-foot North Bethesda, Md., lease on behalf of Massachusetts-headquartered Abt Associates. The full-building lease of Executive Plaza South in South Rockville/North Bethesda has been arranged by Cushman & Wakefield Senior Director Kevin McGloon and NGKF representative Phil Giunta. Owners Angelo Gordon & Co. and Monument Realty were represented by Robert Dickman of Avison Young.

“Abt Associates made this forward-thinking commitment in the amenity-rich, transportation-focused district of Pike & Rose…Executive Plaza provides excellent Class A space at a competitive price with the amenities required by today’s top-tier occupiers and a location conducive to attracting and retaining world-class talent,” said McGloon in a prepared statement. The Cambridge, Mass.-based company will move to the new location in April 2018.

Part of a two-building North Bethesda office complex, the 8-story Executive Plaza South is located at 6120 Executive Blvd., and was completed in 1985. According to Yardi Matrix, the property offers 610 parking spots and was completely renovated in 2014. Situated close to both the Washington National Pike and the Capital Beltway, the office building is a half-hour ride to downtown D.C. and offers good connections to both Maryland and North Virginia destinations, as well as to many major suburban communities in the area.
