Cushman & Wakefield Arranges Lease at NYC’s Tower 56

Winston Art Group will move its New York City office to the 33-story tower in early 2017.

New YorkCushman & Wakefield recently arranged a 5,882-square-foot, 11-year lease for Winston Art Group Inc. in New York City. The independent art appraisal and advisory company will occupy an entire floor at the 190,000-square-foot Tower 56.

Winston Art Group is relocating from 595 Madison Ave. to 126 E. 56th St., and will occupy the property’s 24th floor. According to the Commercial Observer, the relocation will take place on Jan. 1, 2017.

Originally built in 1982, the high-rise asset is situated between Park and Lexington Avenues and offers easy access to transportation. Central Park South’s entrance is in close proximity, offering a plethora of dining, retail and outdoor amenities. The LEED Silver and WIRED Gold Certified office building was designed by Fox and Fowle Architects.

Harry Blair, Sean Kearns and Heather Thomas of Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord, Pearlmark Investment Co., in the lease negotiations. Executive Vice President Scott Vinett and Vice President Charles Gerace of JLL acted on behalf of the tenant.
