Cushman & Wakefield Closes Sale of Industrial Warehouse

The Brooklyn property changed hands for $6 million.

New YorkCushman & Wakefield has closed on the $6 million sale of 214 40th St., a 13,730-square-foot industrial warehouse located on the south side of 40th Street, between 2nd and 3rd Avenues in Sunset Park, Brooklyn.

Aaron Warkov, senior director of Cushman & Wakefield, along with Adam Ecker, senior associate and Daniel Arnel, associate, led the marketing efforts representing ownership in the transaction.

“At $437 per square-foot, this sale is one of the highest recorded industrial transactions in the neighborhood,” Warkov said in prepared remarks. “Our client was very satisfied with our process and the final sale price.”

The 2.5-story building is fully renovated and includes three drive-in garage bays with curb cuts, elevators and third floor office space. Other amenities include a new high grade industrial hot water boiler, a new roof extensive, 3.000 amps of electricity and grease traps throughout the building.

The property is situated between two MTA transit stations, in close proximity to Industry City, providing easy access to downtown Brooklyn and Manhattan.
