C&W Selected to Market Brinker HQ

Brinker International is set to relocate within the Cypress Waters development in Dallas in spring 2019. Cushman & Wakefield will be in charge of marketing the 110,000-square-foot office building.

Brinker International Inc. has selected Cushman & Wakefield to oversee the sale of its Dallas headquarters at 6820 Lyndon B. Johnson Freeway. Brinker is set to relocate to a 216.300-square-foot Cypress Waters office building in spring 2019. Cushman & Wakefield’s Rick Hughes, executive managing director, Maureen Kelly Cooper, senior managing director, and Robbie Baty, senior director, are in charge of marketing the property.

ROOM FOR EXPANSION

The four-story, 110,000-square-foot property, located in the area between the Preston Trails and Preston Hollow neighborhoods, features an adjacent three-story covered parking garage with more than 450 spaces. The asset offers easy access to Interstate 635, as well as to various dining options. Sitting on a lot of more than 7.5 acres, the property also offers plenty of room for expansion—up to an additional 206,000 square feet—or a complete redevelopment totaling 315,000 square feet.

“Since the LBJ Express has been completed, property values in the area have dramatically increased,” Maureen Kelly Cooper said in a prepared statement. “The corridor between Hillcrest Road and the Dallas North Tollway is seeing a burst of activity, with major renovation and redevelopment projects underway, including Lincoln Centre, the Galleria, and Midtown.”
