Cambria Hotel & Suites Plano–Frisco has been LEED certified to the Silver level, which marks the Cambria Hotels brand’s first property to receive LEED certification. Managed by O’Reilly Hospitality Management, the facility was recognized for installing electric vehicle charging stations, for using solar power and low-emitting building materials, as well as for reducing water consumption.

Opened in March 2015, the four-story, 129-key hotel is located at 7500 Parkwood Blvd., within walking distance of Shops at Legacy and 25 miles from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. The property offers easy access to Dallas North Tollway. Amenities at Cambria Hotel & Suites Plano–Frisco include a fitness center, an airline ticket desk, a business center and an outdoor heated pool.

According to Janis Cannon, senior vice president of upscale brands at Choice Hotel International, the company plans to roll out additional environmentally-friendly properties. Choice Hotels and O’Reilly Hospitality Management have teamed up this year to open a property in McAllen, Texas, and plan to open another location in Phoenix later this year.
