DC Hotel Joins Hilton’s Curio Collection

Seven other properties around the globe, including the H Hotel Los Angeles, The Marquette in Minneapolis and The Statler Dallas, will be joining the collection soon.

Hilton recently announced that The Darcy Washington, D.C., has joined the company’s luxury Curio Collection. Previously a DoubleTree Hotel, The Darcy reopened this year with upscale amenities and a new restaurant, The Siren.

Located at 1515 Rhode Island Ave., N.W., within walking distance of Dupont Circle and six blocks from the White House, the 226-key pet-friendly hotel is also close to Logan Circle and the 14th Street retail corridor, as well as the National Mall. DCA Airport is 15 minutes away, while both Dulles and Baltimore airports are located within a 45-minute drive.

The Darcy offers several upscale dining options, fitness and business centers, meeting rooms, valet parking, guest bike program, as well as a 900-square-foot presidential suite.

“The Darcy Washington, D.C., is as eclectic and remarkable as the District it serves, delivering a truly authentic experience for guests looking for one-of-a-kind discoveries,” said Mark Nogal, global head of Curio and Tapestry by Hilton collections, in prepared remarks. “Newly recreated, The Darcy exudes the spirit of its destination as do all Curio Collection by Hilton hotels, particularly through its unique ambience and local partnerships.”

The Curio Collection currently includes 36 hotels, 32 of which are in the Americas, according to the brand’s website. Seven properties around the globe, including the H Hotel Los Angeles, The Marquette in Minneapolis and The Statler Dallas, will be joining the collection soon.
