Divaris Facilitates 6 Transactions in Richmond

The company negotiated five retail and office leases, as well as the $1.4 million sale of a warehouse and land parcel.

Divaris Real Estate’s Richmond office completed six new deals in the metropolitan area, totaling 63,842 square feet. The transactions included a sale and five leases.

The sale comprised a 2.1-acre plot of land and a 28,300-square-foot warehouse building,  which Bloxton Investment Group acquired for $1.4 million from SKS Associates. Vice Presidents Peter Vick and Harrison Hall represented the buyer in the transaction. The asset is located at 2800 Ackley Ave. in Henrico, Va. The location provides access to distribution routes, such as Route 33 and Interstate 295.

Leasing activity

The lease transactions negotiated by the company’s Richmond office included the 29,600-square foot space Launch Trampoline Park committed to within Victorian Square Shopping Center, at 10901 Hull St. Road in Midlothian, Va. Other tenants at the property include Gabe’s, Planet Fitness, Ashley Furniture, Dollar Tree and Pizza Hut. Assistant Vice President John Madures represented the landlord in the retail space lease negotiations.

Zoe’s Kitchen also signed on for 2,600 square feet at 2061 Huguenot Road in Richmond. The property is adjacent to the Huguenot Village Shopping Center and multiple other retail destinations, at the intersection of Huguenot and Robious Roads. Senior Vice President Brett McNamee and Associate Ali Newton completed the lease negotiations on behalf of the tenant.

Furthermore, the Divaris-leased West Broad Village at 2235 Old Brick Road in Glen Allen, Va., welcomed a new tenant: Land Home Financial Services. Peter Vick and Harrison Hall negotiated the 2,021-square-foot lease on behalf of the landlord.

Meanwhile, Bench Inc. committed to 800 square feet of office space at 23-25 S. 13th in Richmond. Divaris oversees leasing operations at the Exchange Alley Building, with Associates Eric Hammond and Dean Foster serving as representatives for the landlord in this transaction. The two DRE associates also negotiated the 521-square-foot lease signed by Jim Bocrie Jr. Agency at 201 N. Washington Highway in Richmond.
