DoubleTree by Hilton Chicago-Oak Brook Changes Hands

CBRE Hotels negotiated the transaction of the 428-key hotel. The property is located in a thriving business area, close to several corporate headquarters.

The upscale DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Oak Brook, Ill., has a new owner. PHF Oak Brook, an affiliate of Fillmore Capital Partners and the previous owner of the property, tapped CBRE Hotels to close the transaction on its behalf. The brokers involved in the deal were Senior Vice President Nate Sahn and First Vice President Peter Greene.

Providing the utmost comfort

Located at 1909 Spring Road, in a booming business and retail area, the hotel offers an array of amenities to accommodate business and private events:

  • a fitness center
  • a business center
  • a leased barber shop
  • a shoe-shine station
  • a heated indoor pool
  • three shuttle vans
  • energy-efficient technology in the conference room

In addition to the 428 rooms, the DoubleTree at Chicago-Oak Brook encompasses a 35,000-square-foot meeting room for business gatherings, a grand ballroom and outdoor gazebo for private events, and two on-site restaurants, the Atrium Café and the Foxes Sports Bar and Grille.

The property is right across the street from Oakbrook Center and offers quick access to the offices of several corporations including PureCircle USA Holdings Inc., Access Media 3, DeVry Education Group, Continental Electrical Construction Co., FedEx and Aerotek. The Chicago O’Hare and Midway International airports are less than 20 miles from the hotel.
