Columbus, Ohio—Darren Shutler and Brad Hobbs, the new owners of Duck Donuts, announced the opening of their first franchise in Westerville, Ohio. Situated at 825 Polaris Parkway, the 1,500-square-foot donut shop will open its doors to clients in October, featuring elite retail items and indoor seating.

Westerville was named America’s Best Suburb in 2013 by Movoto Real Estate, and was #15 on Money Magazine’s list of Top 100 Best Places to Live in 2009. “With the expansion of each Duck Donuts location, we are adding 25 to 40 new jobs to the economy and that has a direct impact on the residents of Central Ohio,” said Russ DiGilio, founder & owner of Duck Donuts Franchising Co.

The company, founded back in 2006, is set to operate 100 enterprises in the U.S. by the end of the year. The soon-to-be-open store in Ohio will be its 42nd property.
