LOGIPIA USA Inc., a third-party logistics service provider, has signed a 140,400-square-foot lease with Duke Realty in Port Wentworth, Ga. The building is now fully leased, with the remainder of the space occupied by Cosmos Granite Co., which moved into the structure in late 2015.

Cushman & Wakefield acted on behalf of the tenant and Duke Realty represented itself in the transaction. Duke acquired the 285,000-square-foot Savannah-area warehouse asset from North Point Industrial in 2008 for $10.9 million, according to Yardi Matrix.

Prime location near the port

Located on a 12.7-acre parcel at 200 Logistics Way in the Crossroads Expansion park, the building is positioned a mile and a half directly south of Interstate 95’s intersection with Georgia Route 21. The Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport sits within four miles of the facility. Constructed in 2006, the property features a secured truck court, 29-foot clear heights, 30- by 60-foot column spacing, two drive-in doors and 20 loading docks equipped with levelers and bumpers.

“With a tremendous location directly near the Port of Savannah and easy access to Atlanta as well as other major cities throughout the Southeast, Crossroads was a perfect location for LOGIPIA USA Inc.,” said Greg Dickerson, director of Cushman & Wakefield, in a prepared statement.
