Duke Realty Welcomes New SVP in Orange County

After having completed more than $1 billion in building and land transactions, Nancy Shultz joins the company's Southern California team.

A little more than two months after appointing a new vice president of leasing and development, Duke Realty Corp. has selected Nancy Shultz as senior vice president of the company’s Irvine, Calif., office. In her new role, Shultz will oversee the firm’s 10.4 million-square-foot Southern California industrial portfolio and will aim to expand it.

Shultz has extensive experience, having completed more than $1 billion of building and land dispositions in the market. Previously, she served as senior vice president of capital deployment for the southwest region of Dermody Properties. Her responsibilities included acquiring and managing industrial assets and development sites in southern California. Before that, she worked for 11 years at Prologis and AMB Property Corp., where she spent nine years as vice president of capital deployment for the Southern California market.    

Duke Realty Corp.’s newest senior vice president earned an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting from Mississippi State University.
