Encore Retail LLC, a subsidiary of Dallas-based Encore Enterprises Inc. has recently acquired land in Bedford, N.H., with plans to develop a 16+-acre mixed-use development. Located right next to a Whole Foods store currently under construction, the project will incorporate a mix of office, dining, fitness and entertainment space. Construction on the development, which is planned to exceed 200,000 square feet, is scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2016.

Encore’s new development will be conveniently located on South River Road, right in the heart of New Hampshire’s business and retail hub. According to the company, the project is already seeing strong interest from both regional and national retailers.

“The property is strategically positioned along South River Road at the high-traffic intersection of Route 101 and Everett Turnpike,” said Nicholas Barber, president of Encore Retail in a statement. “Its close proximity and direct access to Whole Foods will create a regional destination for area residents.”

Theodore Cryssicas of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank brokered the deal, and will also handle retail leasing. Robert Rohrer of Colliers International will handle office leasing. Prellwitz Chilinski Associates is the architect of record.
