Full House at Boston Landing’s 20 Guest St.
- May 12, 2017
Owner and developer NB Development Group LLC inked a 46,290-square-foot lease at 20 Guest St., within its 15-acre mixed-use development Boston Landing in Brighton, Mass. The tenant, Global Atlantic Financial Group, will occupy the entire ninth and tenth floors, moving out of its offices at 132 Turnpike Road in Southborough, Mass. Transwestern Consulting Group’s Steve Purpura, Eric Smith, Tim Lahey and Perry Beal acted on behalf of the owner, joining efforts with NB Development Group’s Jim Halliday and Erin Harvey.
The 228,830-square-foot, 10-story, Class A building was erected in 2001 and contains 5,000 square feet of retail space, Yardi Matrix data shows. It also boasts a full-service cafeteria, a newly renovated lobby, sleek conference center, efficient floor plates, abundant natural light, 680 parking spaces, access to NB Fitness Club and great views of Downtown Boston, Cambridge and Charles River.
The building is part of Boston Landing, a 1.4 million-square-foot, mixed-use complex with a planned 80,000 square feet of retail space, a 175 boutique hotel and Boston Bruins’ state-of-the-art practice facility, slated for completion in 2018. It also harbors the new world headquarters of New Balance Athletics Inc. A new commuter rail, which is just three stops away from Downtown Boston, MBTA bus stops, shuttles and a Hubway bike-renting station facilitate transportation. It is within walking distance of Arsenal Street Retail and other retailers, restaurants and parks, providing major street exposure to Interstate 90.
Notable tenants include Harvard Business Publishing, Entercom Boston, Spaulding Outpatient Center Brighton and Major League Lacrosse. With the latest tenant addition, 20 Guest St. is now fully leased.
“Boston Landing is the ideal destination for suburban companies like Global Atlantic that are looking for a more urban location with the associated high-end amenities and office space, as well as access to public transportation,” Halliday said in prepared remarks. “Boston Landing’s dynamic setting and convenience are key attractions to what’s become the western gateway to the city.”
