Furniture Company Leases 47 KSF in Suburban NJ

In a deal brokered by NAI James E. Hanson, GBK Group Inc. expanded its warehousing and distribution business by occupying space at a retail and industrial/flex building in Fairview, N.J.

NAI James E. Hanson arranged a lease with the GBK Group Inc. at a 121,670-square-foot retail and industrial/flex building in Fairview, N.J. The tenant will take up 41,763 square feet of industrial space and 4,800 square feet of office space at the Ronald Realty Co.-owned asset. The space will accommodate GBK Group’s growing furniture warehousing and distribution business.

The property is located at 251 Bergen Blvd., and features five loading docks, one drive-in and 15-foot ceiling heights. It also offers easy access to major roads, such as Route 9 and the New Jersey Turnpike, and Manhattan is a 25-minute drive away.

NAI James E. Hanson’s Tom Vetter, Jeff DeMagistris and Lou Tapia acted on behalf the owner.  

 “251 Bergen Blvd. is a well-located and flexible industrial space that offered a wide range of uses for a prospective tenant,” Vetter said in a prepared statement. “Tenants in this market are aggressively seeking sub-100,000-square-foot industrial opportunities as the market is facing a well-documented shortage of available space.

NAI also recently facilitated a long-term lease agreement with KS Trading Corp. at an industrial building in the area.
