Columbus, Ga.—A manufacturing/distribution plant located in Columbus, Ga., previously owned and operated by Kellogg’s is now up for auction. United Strategic Client Services, United Country Talking Rock Realty and Low Country Auction & Real Estate will offer the property to the highest bidder on Dec. 7, during a live and online event.
“With a property such as 3700 Victory Drive, marketing the plant as an auction allows qualified buyers to assess and determine their current fair market value through the live and online bidding process,” Joel Neighbors, owner, broker & auctioneer of United Country Talking Rock Realty, said in a prepared statement.
Located at 3700 Victory Drive, the approximately 474,000-square-foot facility positioned on roughly 17 acres of land offers convenient access to various highly trafficked highways and apartment communities. The plant has been developed as to accommodate many types of businesses, including manufacturing food or other products. The property features office and manufacturing space, 28 door docks with overheated automatic doors and individual air compressors, a diesel generator on-site that can provide electricity for the entire plant, and 40 mm membrane roof with warranty through 2027, among others.
“The 3700 Victory Drive plant has been in operation since 1953, when it was called Sunshine Biscuits,” Mark Woodling, vice president & auctioneer with United Strategic Client Services, said in prepared remarks.
According to the Columbus Chamber of Commerce, Georgia has become the leading destination for manufacturing companies because of its comprehensive network of air, sea, rail and highway infrastructures.
A preview and tour of the property will occur Nov. 17, from 10 AM to 2 PM.
