HFF Appoints New Senior Managing Director for Its NJ Office

Florham Park, N.J.—HFF announced that Gregory Nalbandian will join its New Jersey office as senior managing director. Nalbandian will focus on debt and equity placement transactions in New Jersey and the Tri-State area.

Nalbandian has more than 23 years of experience in commercial real estate. He joins HFF from NorthMarq Capital LLC, where he held senior management positions since 2005 and worked on a variety of debt and equity placements. Prior to NorthMarq, Nalbandian was a principal at Schonbraun McCann Group LLC after making his debut in commercial real estate at O’Connor Capital Partners.

“He has experience working the entire capital stack from first mortgage debt placements to more complicated structured finance transactions involving equity or preferred equity/mezzanine financing, recapitalizations and repositionings,” said Jon Mikula, senior managing director & co-head of HFF’s New Jersey office, in prepared remarks.

Nalbandian is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties. He holds a Master in Real Estate from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Michigan.
