HFF Closes $24M Fort Lauderdale Office Sale

Miami—HFF has recently closed the $23.9 million sale of Park Center, a five-story Class A office property in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. The seller, RFP Mainstreet Park/Cypress LLC, is a joint venture between Fort Lauderdale-based Mainstreet Capital Partners and Boston-based Realty Financial Partners. The property was sold on a free and clear basis to Gladstone Commercial Corp.

Park Center is a 118,930-square-foot office building located at 6363 NW. 6th Way, just off Interstate 95 in the Cypress Creek submarket. At the time of sale, the building was 100 percent leased to Citrix Systems. The Fortune 1000 and S&P 500 company provides a complete and integrated portfolio of Workspace-as-a-Service, application delivery, virtualization, mobility, network delivery and file sharing solutions.

Senior Managing Director Hermen Rodriguez, Associate Director Jorge Portela and Director Ike Ojala of HFF led the investment sales team that marketed the property on behalf of the seller.

So far in 2016, HFF’s office investment sales team has marketed more than 1.7 million square feet of office space in the Miami/Fort Lauderdale area, including notable transactions such as Aventura Corporate Center, Miami Tower and Datran Center.
