Columbus, OhioHillwood, a Perot company, has announced the acquisition of Rickenbacker 717, a Class A distribution center totaling 717,717 square feet in Groveport, Ohio, one of the most prominent distribution corridors in the country.

Located on 35 acres at 3099 Rohr Road, Rickenbacker 717 is in close proximity to Rickenbacker International Airport, Port Columbus International Airport and the Norfolk Southern intermodal yard. The location also provides easy access to the I-270 interchange, I-70 and I-71. The recently built warehouse offers amenities necessary to accommodate today’s distribution needs, including 32-feet clear height, cross-dock configuration, abundant loading (70 dock doors expandable to 139), ESFR Fire Protection, 135-feet truck court depths, 50- by 60-foot column spacing, ample expandable auto parking and 69 trailer stalls with land available for an additional 86 stalls. The distribution center is outfitted with energy saving T-5 motion sensing light fixtures, as well as an efficient roof and wall system creating valuable cost-savings to the owner.
