Hilton Appoints Global Head of LXR Hotels & Resorts

The new hire brings nearly 20 years of industry experience in the Asia-Pacific, the U.K. and the U.S. to the role.

Hilton has appointed Feisal Jaffer as global head of LXR Hotels & Resorts, the company’s newest luxury collection brand launched in 2018. Based in McLean, Va., Jaffer will report directly to Martin Rinck, executive vice president and global head of luxury and lifestyle brands.

Jaffer has nearly 20 years of global experience in growing businesses and brands across the hospitality, real estate and technology sectors in the Asia-Pacific, the U.K. and the U.S.

Jaffer joins Hilton from Capella Hotel Group, part of Pontiac Land Group, where he most recently served as senior vice president of business development. In this position, he was responsible for the initiation and execution of new hotel management and investment opportunities. Moreover, he was part of the team that created a new premium lifestyle brand.

Jaffer was also a senior vice president in acquisitions & development at Pontiac Land Group, where he led the international hotel expansion in Australia, the Maldives and the U.S. Before Pontiac Land Group, Jaffer held executive positions with Host Hotels and Fairmont-Raffles Hotels International.
