Hilton Worldwide has signed a franchise license agreement with locally based PK Partners to develop a 125-room Hampton Inn & Suites.

The hotel will be sited in the heart of Keystone at the Crossing in Indianapolis. Construction on the $15 million project is expected to begin later this year and be complete by 2016.

Within walking distance to the Fashion Mall at Keystone, the Hampton Inn and Suites at 8980 River Crossing Boulevard will offer guests easy access to a variety of restaurants and shops, as well as offices and trails. It will be owned by PK Partners and operated by Schahet Hotels Inc.

Amenities will include free Wi-Fi, a fitness center, a 24-hour business center with complimentary printing, and an 800-square-foot meeting space that can accommodate up to 50 people. The pet-friendly rooms and inviting suites will be equipped with the brand’s signature Clean and Fresh Hampton bed, 42-inch LCD TV, microwave and coffeemaker.

According to the Indianapolis Business Journal, the five-story hotel is part of the $80 million River North at Keystone mixed-use development, on which PK Partners broke ground in March. The overall project will also bring a 120,000-square-foot office building and 300-space parking garage; a five-story, 121-unit apartment building; a mixed-used building with 28 condominiums; a four-story, 47-unit apartment building; and a 54,000-square-foot office and retail building.

“Hilton Worldwide continues to experience a period of incredible growth as one of the industry’s largest and fastest growing hospitality companies,” Bill Fortier, senior vice president, development-Americas, Hilton Worldwide, said in a news release. “Hampton Hotels is the ideal mid-market brand for developers and consumers alike, and we look forward to introducing the brand’s culture of ‘Hamptonality’ to the city’s most prestigious area.”

Hilton’s Hampton Hotels brand comprises more than 2,000 mid-priced Hampton Inn, Hampton Inn & Suites and Hampton by Hilton properties across the globe.
