The Orchard East Austin

In Austin’s ever-growing economy, there is a home for everyone, from the tech-savvy seeking seamlessly connected residences to the nostalgic who dream of a simpler life. To suit the preferences of the latter, MX3 Homes is developing a distinctive project in East Austin.

The area has become a hub for restaurants like Micklethwait Craft Meats and East Side Pies, nightlife staples like The White Horse and Whisler’s, and art galleries and studios such as the Big Medium, Mass Gallery, and Art Post. MX3′s new community, The Orchard, is under construction at 2915 Webberville Road, at the intersection of Pleasant Valley Road and Webberville Road.

The Orchard is a $14 million residential community that combines new architecture with classic design in three-story 38 modern farmhouses. True to its name, the new development will incorporate an orchard that will give the residents peaches and pears in a few years. Homes will have their own persimmon and apple trees, as well. And Orchard is near Boggy Creek Farm and Springdale Farm, both of which sell produce and host special events.

Four floor plans are available, ranging in size from 1,195 square feet to 1,875 square feet and are pre-construction priced between $330,000 and $445,000. The model home is complete and 17 houses have already been pre-sold, with Brandon Miller Group managing sales. Completion of the entire is scheduled for 2016.
