- Jun 16, 2015
A 208-key hotel near the University of Florida in Gainesville is under new ownership. In a $12.1 million deal, CrossHarbor Capital Partners L.L.C. of Boston bought The Lodge at Gainesville, an independent, select-service hotel.
Formerly branded a Cabot Lodge, the three-story property is located at 3726 SW 40th Blvd., just off Interstate 75 in Gainesville’s largest retail corridor. It provides access to Celebration Pointe and Butler Plaza North/Butler Plaza Towne Center, two new retail developments located within a mile of the hotel.
Amenities include 810 square feet of meeting space with audio and visual equipment, an outdoor swimming pool and hot tub, barbeque grills and a complimentary breakfast buffet.
CrossHarbor acquired the asset free and clear of debt. HFF marketed the property and represented the seller. Senior Managing Director Daniel C. Peek, Director Michael Weinberg and real estate analysts Anthony Frogameni and Preston Reid led HFF’s team for the transaction.
