HSA PrimeCare, the national health-care division of HSA Commercial Real Estate, has broken ground on a 40,000-square-foot medical office pavilion in New Lenox, Ill. The upcoming building will be located on the western part of Silver Cross Hospital’s campus and is expected to house the hospital’s urgent care, occupational health and primary care clinics.

HSA teamed up with Eppstein Uhen Architects and PREMIER Design + Build to finalize the project. Completion is slated for the end of this year.

Silver Cross is located at 1900 Silver Cross Blvd., approximately 10 miles from the recently-completed Palos Medical Campus, and can be accessed via interstates 355 and 80. The hospital houses several centers including cancer, digestive diseases, neuroscience institute, rehabilitation, heart care and emergency care.

Silver Cross has previously worked with HSA on several other projects. In 2008, the hospital tapped the company to develop and manage a two-story, 53,000-square-foot medical office building for Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, Silver Cross Center for Women’s Health and Hinsdale Orthopedics. Three years later, HSA delivered a new facility for University of Chicago Cancer Center at Silver Cross Hospital, which was later expanded to 21,000 square feet.
