Hunter Roberts Construction Appoints SVP

New York—Hunter Roberts Construction Group announced the addition of David Kane as senior vice president of the firm’s New York office. David will be responsible for pursuing and completing public construction projects executed by the New York office.
Kane brings 28 years of experience in engineering, construction and program management. Prior to joining Hunter Roberts Construction Group, he was a COO at a national MWBE construction management firm, where he directed operations for all New York-based company divisions, developed new businesses and increased the company’s client base. Prior to that, he spent 15 years with the New York City Economic Development Co. Capital Management, where he managed a portfolio valued at more than $3 billion.
A few notable projects that Kane added to the portfolio while he managed public and private construction and development in the institutional, sports, industrial, public space, infrastructure, transportation and resiliency areas, were Columbia University’s Manhattanville development, The High Line, Theatre for a New Audience, Flushing Meadowns Park Natatorium and Ice Rink, Staten Island Yankees Ballpark, Icahn Track and Field Stadium and the Hunts Point Fish Market.
