IMC Construction has completed the renovations of Spear Street Capital’s Arborcrest 5, an office building in Philadelphia’s suburb of Blue Bell, Pa. The original property featured two stories and was constructed in 1970 to house a pharmaceutical company.

Designed by Erdy McHenry Architecture, Arborcrest 5 now offers tenants access to a full-service cafe, yoga room, lounges, a fitness center and a basketball court. The renovation called for an expanded two-story lobby with a ground staircase made from custom terrazzo. That portion of the property connects tenants to a central core made with full-height glass cladding, which provides views of the whole office park, picnic terrace and landscaping. IMC left select parts of the building intact, keeping waste out of landfills.

“Office parks today have to be dynamic places with top notch amenities,” said Rob Cottone, president of IMC Construction, in a prepared statement. “Arborcrest 5 is a stunning, Class A office building that is also healthy, sustainable and in a prime location.”
