InvenTrust Properties Hires CFO

InvenTrust Properties Corp. has named Daniel Busch as the company’s new executive vice president, chief financial officer & treasurer in its Chicago office, effective September 3. Busch has more than 13 years of experience researching the retail industry with a focus on shopping centers, malls and net leases. He will be replacing Adam Jaworski, the interim principal financial officer, who will continue in his role as senior vice president & chief accountant officer.

Busch comes from Green Street Advisors, where he served as managing director & lead analyst for the company’s retail team for more than eight years. He helped upgrade Green Street’s proprietary interactive mall database, which provides quality grades on more than 1,000 U.S. malls. Prior to that, Busch was an analyst for Telsey Advisory Group.

Busch is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, of the Urban Land Institute and of the Commercial and Retail Development Council. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University, as well as an M.B.A. from NYU Stern School of Business.  

InvenTrust has been expanding its presence in the southern markets, having recently added two new retail centers in the Orlando-area to its portfolio.
